Application for Teaching Assistant Positions
Welcome to the TA Application System. This System is designed to
be used by graduate students to apply for jobs with the Department
of Computer Sciences as Teaching Assistants (TAs).
The Department will match your interests and background with
the teaching needs for the next semester of classes.
The Department employs many TAs, but not everyone who wants a
TA position will get one.
All TAs are required to:
- Clear any financial or non-financial bars before the appointment is processed.
- Register on a full-time basis (9 credit hours) during the period of appointment.
- Have no more than one incomplete on their record from the previous semester,
and no more than one permanent incomplete on their record.
- Enroll in CS 398T, Supervised Teaching, prior to or during the first semester of appointment as a TA.
- Pass the English proficiency exam (required of all international students to serve as TAs).

The deadline to apply for a TA position for Spring 2010
is Tuesday, November 10th at 8:00 AM
Students who applied in the past will need to resubmit their applications.
