Brunch for the Brain. Join us for cool talks and interact with technology as we serve up cutting-edge computer science.

10/17 - Start-ups, iPhones and IPO's, oh my! Assistant Professor William Cook and entrepreneurial UTCS students will discuss the life cycle of a technology start-up and how venture capital works, and lead a hands-on workshop on designing an iPhone application.

11/14 - How Machines Learn and Interact - Associate Professor Peter Stone will discuss the concepts of machine learning and multiagent systems, with examples from robot soccer and an autonomous car.

12/5 - Flip Bits, Not Burger: Harnessing Technology for Good - Associate Professor Calvin Lin will show how computer technology, which has been changing the world for years, offers hope for solving some of the world's most pressing problems.

Breakfast Bytes is targeted toward middle and high school students, parents and teachers.

Is there a fee for Breakfast Bytes?

No

Do students have to attend all the sessions or can they pick those of interest?

Students are welcome to come to any or all sessions.

Will food be served?

We will serve either bagels or donuts and beverages.

Is there parking available?

Students or parents can park in either the Speedway Garage external link or the 27th Street Garage external link

How can I sign up?

We don't have an official RSVP list. You are welcome just to show up!
