The contest will consist of a 45 minute multiple choice test and a 2 hour programming contest with 12 problems. UIL style scoring for written test and programming contest. The programming language for the contest is Java. Most problems will require you to read from data files. For the programming contest submission will be via a wireless PC^2 backup. The backup plan for submission will be via USB drives. If your computer system does not have wireless capability submissions will be via USB drives.
Each school may enter up to three teams of students. Teams consist of three students each. A school may enter one team with less than three students. This still counts as one of the schools three teams.
