live interview of Taylor by John Markoff, technology reporter for The New

York Times. Also included will be presentations by Michael A. Hiltzik, Pul

itzer Prize winner and author of Dealers of Lightning: Xerox PARC and the D

awn of the Computer Age, and M. Mitchell Waldrop, author of The Dream Mac

hine, a book about the history of computing.

ell Distinguished Lecture Series and The University of Texas Department of
