p>Talk Title: Persistent Homology
Talk Abstract:
I will give a
brief introduction to persistent homology of a continuous
function on
a topological space. Extending the original notion to include
measurem
ents of essential classes, we get a relationship to the homology of
l
evel sets and their robustness under perturbations of the function. &
