Between 2001 and 2012, Satya worked on various products as OpenSpirit (integrating GIS visualization), or OpenWorks (integrating PresGraf – pore pressure computing software), or Petris INDS Enterprise / DrillNET/OMS/REDMS. Since 2012 Satya works on Petrel Studio, on the Data Environment Manager Find, Studio Manager Petrel, Studio Manager Framework and Studio Manager Techlog Plugin as well as Studio Foundation. Satya holds the dual role in being architect and team leader.

Jolly Game Jam

Jolly will be hosting a Game Jam on campus, giving students a chance to work in teams and create a playable game by the end of the weekend. Food will be provided and the culmination will be a showcase of the games at the end of the weekend.

The more we know about users, the better we can serve their needs. As an essential approach to understanding human interactions, mood sensing is a vital component in behavioral studies and health care, as well as in the design of context-aware systems. Dell Research believes the next step is to learn more about a userâ•˙s emotional state and then use that knowledge to drive a more satisfying and intuitive experience. Our research is divining mood and user-sensing using cameras, voice input and brain computer interfaces. In this talk, I will first discuss current trends in mood sensing technologies in academia and industry. Then I will describe ongoing mood and user-sensing projects at Dell Research, and how we incorporate them in Dell products and collaborative projects with partners.
