3 Epson PowerLite 710c/713c and 2 Dell 3100MP LCD projectors are available. They must be reserved, but do not require shop assistance unless requested. A first-time user overview is available to learn the basic operation of the machines, after which there is little or no shop assistance required.
All projectors connect to VGA outputs. Cables for DVI outputs can be included with the Dell projectors if requested. A portable screen is also available.
Important Note: Do NOT unplug a portable projector while it is powered on. You must press the power button and give the projector a few minutes to cool before unplugging. Failure to allow cooling time may damage the bulb or the electronics of the projector.
Overhead projectors are usually readily available, but proper reservation will ensure availability and timely delivery.
There are two 3M 2770 portable overhead projectors available for checkout. They require no assistance or special instruction.

Most overhead projectors have a primary and backup bulb in them at all times. Please report the failure of any bulb to shop staff via shopreq. It is recommended that you check both bulbs before beginning a presentation to prevent interruption from burned out bulbs.
There is only one 35mm slide projector available for checkout. This must be reserved but should not require shop assistance unless requested.
