Micro Lab PhotoThe third floor Painter lab is no longer in service. The lab in Painter 5.38 is now the only computer lab in Painter. There is now a Windows lab and a Linux lab in the basement of ENS.

Equipment in Painter 5.38

There are 82 Windows XP machines and 26 Linux machines all Dell Pentium 4s (Optiplex GX280 and Optiplex GX620). In the teaching lab (South side) there are 26 stations with Windows XP machines and Linux machines on each desk, switched with KVMs. The teaching lab also has projection capabilities. There is a kiosk machine where the users can sign up for an account. All UTCS logins work in the labs.

Equipment in ENS

ENS 1 has 23 stations with Windows and Linux machines, switched with KVMs. ENS 2 has 21 Windows machines. The Windows machines in both are a mixture of Optiplex GX620s and Optiplex 745s. All UTCS logins work in these labs.

Hours

The labs are now 24 hour accessible.
