Computing
The UTCS facilities staff support more than 1500 computing devices on the department network, including network routers and switches, office workstations, file servers, research clusters, public instructional labs, and peripherals. We manage software installs, user accounts, quotas, filesystem backups, news, email, web services, and the department wireless network.
