The following two textbooks are required text for the course. (Supplemental literature will be assigned during the semester, and additional references are recommended below.)

In addition, the course packet can be picked up in the GSB Building in Room 3.136 (512-471-8281) on the third floor. Make sure the material refers to the 5^th edition of the book, by looking at the first slide and its reference to the 5^th edition. DONOT buy the copy for 4^th edition.
