UTCS alum Eileen Boerger has been elected to the Software & Information Industry Association’s (SIIA) Software Division Board of Directors to serve a two-year term. SIIA is the principal trade association and a leading voice for the software, digital content, ed-tech and financial information industries.

Eileen has 30-plus years of software/technology experience and serves as president of software consulting, development services and technical staffing leader CorSource Technology Group, where she launched software consulting services to help companies meet product development challenges for Cloud, SaaS, Mobile, Predictability, Big Data, Business Intelligence and beyond.

Eileen earned a BA in math and MA in computer science from The University of Texas at Austin. She has been an active individual contributor as conference speaker, judge for the CODiE™ Awards, Vision from the Top participant, and conference organizer for All About Mobile. She was recently reappointed to the Engineering and Technology Industry Council (ETIC) for a third four-year term; serves on the Portland State University Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science Dean's Executive Council; helped start ETIC's Oregon Pre-engineering and Applied Sciences (OPAS) Initiative to foster collaborations and programs that prepare, motivate, and enable the success of a diversity of students in the technical disciplines; served on Saturday Academy's Advisory Board of the Association of Women in Science, Engineering and Math; and supports Oregon Entrepreneurs Network's (OEN) Angel Oregon program providing launch-stage funding to promising new companies.
