Career Brunch 2008

The University of Texas at Austin Department of Computer Sciences (UTCS) Friends of Computer Sciences (FoCS) 2008 Career Brunch was held in conjunction with the College of Natural Sciences (CNS) Career Expo on September 22, 2008 at the Frank Erwin Center.

The FoCS Career Brunch provides FoCS companies exclusive access to a select group of top CS students including Turing Scholars, Women in Computer Sciences, ACM and GRACS leaders - the best of the best at UTCS. FoCS members were recognized throughout the brunch as students and companies exchanged employment information for future interviews.

Both students and FoCS members described it as an extremely worthwhile event. Several FoCS members said it was exactly the type of event they needed for their recruitment efforts and some said it was their favorite recruiting event of the year. Students were excited about their futures and careers.
