If you're a UTCS graduate, we offer a lifetime email forwarding service for the @alumni.cs.utexas.edu address of your choice. This isn't a mailbox service or shell account, and there's no associated storage - just forwarding.
To set up an address, send email to accounts@alumni.cs.utexas.edu and tell us
At this time, we still have to manually verify your graduation information against the Registrar's records, so please be patient! If you're about to graduate, or have recently graduated, and the Registrar's official graduation list for the semester isn't online yet, we won't be able to service your request immediately.2
To change your forwarding, just send us the same information as above and tell us the new address where you'd like to receive your @alumni.cs.utexas.edu mail.
1If you have forgotten your EID, please contact the UT Registrar's Help Desk at 512/475.7656 for assistance. They will also be able to help you if you were a student here before the EID system was in place and you want to find out what EID they have assigned to your records. In either case, please do *not* create a new EID, since it will be of no help to us in authenticating you against University degree information.
2As a rule of thumb, we typically receive this information two to four weeks after the end of the semester (summer graduation info in September, winter info in mid January, and spring info in early June).
