What Does NSCS Do for CS Students?

The Natural Sciences Career Services Office (NSCS) offers a variety of services to Computer Science students. Starting as early as freshman year, NSCS can plug students into the industry with internships and co-ops. Visit the NSCS Office in Painter Hall (PAI) 5.03 for:

  • An eRecruiting account, which is free for current students and $20 for alumni. Why do you need an eRecruiting Account?
    • You'll be kept up to date on events, such as:
      • Employer information sessions
      • On-campus interviews
      • Workshops
      • Career fairs, which occur early in both the fall and spring semesters
    • You can search a national employer database.
    • You can manage all your job applications and resumes in one place.
  • Resume and cover letter critiques, mock interviews, and salary negotiation practice with a Career Advisor
  • Job search assistance
  • Cooperative education (co-op program) information
  • Books, magazines, and journals in the career resource library
  • Career email lists
  • Employer contacts
  • Graduate school advising
