Students with very strong academic backgrounds who seek greater intellectual challenges are encouraged to apply to the Turing Scholars Honors program. It leads students through an engaging series of honors courses and culminates in an honors research thesis that allows students to work closely with faculty and their research teams. Turing Scholars bypass the Entry-level CS major and are admitted directly to the CS major.
