Aditya Rawal
Ph.D. Alumni
My primary research interests include biologically inspired Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning. Inspired by complex socio-biological structures in nature, I am applying simultaneous cooperation and competition in artificial predator-prey teams. At NNRG, we have developed a new Neuro-evolution architecture called Multi-Component ESP to sustain co-evolutionary arms race in such predator-prey teams. Recently, our focus is to establish communication and construct language in artificial teams. This has applications in building better video-game bots, robotic teams as well as in the understanding of natural evolution of language. My other research interest include Computational Modeling of human brain.
