Mohan Sridharan
Alumni
Mohan's Ph.D. dissertation focused on enabling a mobile robot to autonomously plan its actions to learn models of color distributions in its world, and to use the learned models to detect and adapt to illumination changes. His post-doctoral work on using hierarchical POMDPs for visual processing management won a distinguished paper award at ICAPS-08. His current research interests include robot vision, probabilistic planning, statistical learning and multiagent systems.
