Qualitative Modeling & Diagnosis
Qualitative reasoning
(QR) concerns modelling and reasoning about the behavior of physical systems qualitatively rather than numerically. Our work in the area has focused on learning qualitative models from behaviors and using
abduction
to perform model-based diagnosis of systems using QR.
