The documentation for Nqthm-1992 consists of

* The book "A Computational Logic Handbook" by Robert S. Boyer and J Strother
Moore, 1988, which may be purchased directly from Academic Press, at a price
of $54.50, by phoning 1-800-321-5068, FAX: 1-800-874-6418, or by writing to:

      Academic Press Books
      Customer Service Department
      Orlando, FL 32887

* Changes to that book, in the postscript file manual-update.ps, including
  - revised versions of
      chapter 3 (on formalization techniques),
chapter 4 (the formal logic), and
chapter 12 (the reference guide), and
  - entirely new chapters replacing
the old chapter 14 (the installation guide and an enumeration of the
many examples distributed with Nqthm-1992) and
the old Appendix I (a formal presentation of the syntax).

Permission from Academic Press to distribute the revised chapters in
electronic form may be found in the file ap-copyright-permission.text.

As on-line documentation, the file logic-reference.doc contains an ASCII
version of the revised chapters 4 and 12, the logic and the reference guide.
In principle, these two chapters tell all one needs to know to use Nqthm-1992
-- both the logic in which theorems are being proved and the commands one can
use. In practice, however, a reading of the entirety of "A Computational Logic
Handbook" is strongly recommended.

In the file nq.el is a Gnu Emacs utility for searching the file
logic-reference.doc.
