The goal of this lecture is to introduce some basic concepts
of process, object modeling and abstraction and to illustrate
these with a very concepts with a very simple example. It will
be shown later how these concepts are fundamental to
object-oriented development.
The example is an application program to make change. We
look at two views of the program, a “programming view” and
a more process-oriented view of program development.
This lecture will lead us into object modeling and
object-oriented development.
