  1. Here's the latest version of the taxonomy page, architecture web page template, and Dan's template of meta information for taxonomies and for bibliographies.
  2. We have a mailing alias:  nphistory@cs
  3. Here's the 1st meeting handout on possible summer deliverables
  4. Each week you should add to your CS370 web page a weekly status report, and provide links to each of your weekly deliverables.  (For a pointer to a very "wordy" but enchanting Summer CS370 web page with status reports and projects, see here.)
Meeting #4 (Wed July 5th, 6:30-8:30) Action Items for Meeting #5

Meeting #3 (Wed June 28th, 6:30-8:30)

MEETING #2 (Wed June 21st, 6:30-8:30)
Very productive, thanks for the discussion from all, particularly the questions about how much and what is meant by annotated bibliography etc... (PS, the cs356 textbook by Peterson/Davie has annotated references at the end of each chapter, and the Digital Library Links on the NPH main web page are also annotated.)
Some of the URLs that I discussed are:
LivingInternet.com
www.histech.rwth-aachen.de/www/quellen/engelbart
www.bootstrap.org/history.htm (examples that relate to GOALS A, C.  Why is each item identified with a #???)
http://sloan.stanford.edu/mousesite/MouseSitePg1.html (good example of a history of computing project, and gives us some examples for digital library issues, and provides some insight into goal C)
Don't forget NetBib as a resource.
Create your CS370/index.html web page and put on it your first week's web page so that your class mates can browse and possibly take advantage of your good ideas and finds!  If you ever find anything that you think others would enjoy, just send an email to the nphistory alias.
For this week your status report should be through Wed noon. (put on the web page).  And please create a link to your week 2's work.

Meeting #1 (Tues June 13th, 6-8)
