Please do not interpret these as "rules that must be followed blindly"; instead these guidelines represent a description of a typical SIGCOMM conference along with policies developed for previous SIGCOMM conferences. Additionally, all conference planners are assumed to have a copy of the relevant sections of the ACM Conference Planning Manual, which includes general descriptions of conference planning roles and "todo lists".
