ACM SIGCOMM'95 Tutorials Handout Formatting Requirements We ask that you follow a few guidelines in formating your handouts. These handouts are due electronically on or before July 28th. The requirements are: The first slide has: "ACM SIGCOMM'95 Tutorial" Your Tutorial Title Your Name Date of your Tutorial Your company or University Your E-mail address and phone number All slides produced in Landscape mode orientation Rendered for 8.5" x 11" paper 1 inch white space borders all around, since the handouts will be bound Slide number on each slide Delivered electronically in PostScript format Rendered in Postscript with one of the following schemes: 2 landscape slides per page, or 1 landscape slide per page with lecture notes or comment area below the slide Note that we request that you not to use one landscape slide per page so that all handouts will be essentially 2-up per page and will look similar. This will also reduce the amount of paper we need to produce. Other Suggestions Be concise, but not terse. Avoid "writing a paper in slide format". If you want prose for explainations, make lecture notes below the formatted slides. Since there will be 2 slides per printed page in the handouts, don't make the slides overly crowded with text and/or graphics. That will make them hard to read. Thanks very much for your cooperation!
