DS Council Weekly Minutes for the Meeting on Wednesday, 29 August 2001
The ice-breaker and picnic for the first-year DSers and their buddies will be on Sunday, September 2nd; bowling (in the Union) will be from 3:30pm to 5:30pm at which time we will walk to Eastwoods Park and have BBQ. Marguerite and Bess will make nametags.
The dinner at Cline's house for the first-yearers and their buddies will be on Saturday, September 8th @ 6pm (no this does not conflict with game time), and as always people will be helping Elaine prepare the food (see my email). Country French is the theme.
Bess needed a rep from council to help SURGE with the revamping of a research guide; Sara is going to do this.
Brandon will talk to Cline about when the freshmen council reps should be elected.
Barbara talked about/explained the Young Scientist Program; expect email from her on the subject.
