DS Council Weekly Minutes for the Meeting on Wednesday, 19 September 2001
The first-year people introduced themselves (this was surprisingly a lot more interesting than it sounds).
Natural Sciences Week (specifically the carnival on Tuesday from 1-3pm) and ds's involvement therein were discussed. There will be a ds booth with information and possibly a hula-hooping contest; see Marguerite's email for more details.
Saturday, September 29th of Parent's weekend organizations will be able to have booths by the Texas Memorial Museum from 9am-12noon; ds will probably participate in this.
At this point in the meeting, we began a discussion that I am pretty sure rivaled our previous record for most time spent on one topic and that ended with the decision to have council meetings on Wednesdays at 9pm (in ESB 19).
Assignments were made for who is explaining what at the info meeting for all of ds, which during the course of discussion was moved to Thursday, September 27th @5pm (in 007).
