• Clare began by discussing the upcoming picnic and icebreaker. We decided to ditch the ice breaker in favor of simply meeting half an hour ahead of time in front of Carothers.
• Will mentioned that the planning for Neal Lane's speaking engagement is going smoothly so far.
• James made a brief mention of the football draw ticket groups and asked everyone to talk them up to more DSers.
• Clare told us all about the plans for the first year dinner on September 7th. These include: it's occurring at the Starbirds' house rather than Cline and Elaine's, and cooking will take place on Saturday only rather than both Friday and Saturday.
• Marshall gave us an update on IM sports. Make sure you get back to him ASAP if you're interested in football, soccer, or volleyball.
• Clare mentioned that next week we will need to decide on a few possible weekends for the Fort Davis trip.
• We found out about everybody else's jobs for the year.
• Clare gave us a few details on MSEP... More forthcoming, but it looks like there will definitely be a morning session, possibly in front of an entire auditorium of people.
• We decided to meet next Tuesday (9/3) at 9:30 PM. Again, this is a temporary meeting time.
• We planned on rescheduling the council dinner with Cline and Elaine to Sunday, September 22nd, pending their approval. James will get back to everyone on this.
• Then we made nametags for the DS Fall Picnic.
