• Clare gave us the IM sports update. We have two volleyball teams, Tuesdays at 8 and 9. The council meeting will likely be moved to Tuesdays at 10 to accommodate the second league. Vball starts Oct. 8th, and soccer starts this Sunday at 5.
• A movie night will take place this Friday.
• The info meeting went so-so: 8 freshmen showed up. Nonetheless, the consensus was positive since none of the freshmen seem particularly worried that they aren't being given adequate information as far as DS activities. So we're probably doing something right.
• Clare and Jeffrey will attend lunch with the dean next Friday.
• Disc golf for the Natural Sciences council takes place this weekend.
• There is a new DS office in Painter, which we'll be moving to rather soon.
• The Port Aransas trip will occur on April 4th, 5th, and 6th.
• We decided on a t-shirt design. The slogan will be "Deans Scholars: Helping smart kids have friends for over twenty years."
• Next week's meeting: Tuesday at 9:00
