I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Applied and Computational Mathematical Sciences (ACMS) with specialization in Discrete Math and Algorithms, from University of Washington - Seattle. I also minored in Mathematics.
Currently I am a graduate student in the Computer Science department at the University of Texas - Austin. I am currently finishing up the Master of Science program. I will be starting the Ph.D. program this fall.
I enjoy engineering challenges, therefore I am happy to work in the Laboratory for Advanced Systems Research (LASR). I am also interested in Artificial Intelligence, and hope to apply my knowledge in this area to my research.
My current research is in the field of large scale distributed systems, and in particular I'm part of the Scalable Data Information Management System (SDIMS) project.
