(Nov. 26) Office Hours changed: (1) Atri would be having his office hours on Wed Nov 27 from 2:55pm to 4:25 pm. (2) Atri would not be having his office hours on Mon Dec 2, 2002. He will have make-up office hours on Friday, Dec 6, 2002 from 3:15pm-4:45 pm. (3) These changes are only for the dates mentioned above.
(Nov. 26) Due Date changed for assignment 6: FROM Monday, November 25 TO Wednesday, November 27.
(Nov. 19) GRADE POSTING. Check your grades in "grades.txt" in your turn-in directory. If you find anything wrong in your grades, please contact Dr. Young or TAs ASAP.
(Nov. 18) Grade Posting Issue. First read the followings: We have recently been advised that the Office of Management, US Department of Education, has ruled in a case from another State that the public posting on the Web (or by any other medium) of final course grades using the last four digits of a student's social security number is a violation of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA or the "Buckley Amendment."). Right now we don't have the password protected webpage interface for this class, so if you want to get all your grades up to now, contact Dr. Young or TAs by person or by email.
(Nov. 06) HYUK CHO's Thursday office hours move to Friday same time because of appointment with PCP. This change is only for this week.
(Oct. 28) Assignment 5 is due on (11/4/02). Here is a check-list for Assignment 5: (1) please note that your code should work in the same behavior as the examplary running behavior specified in Dr. Young's webpage. (2) Don't forget to make a driver or main() in order to show how your program is properly working. (If your program doesn't have main(), it will not be graded.) (3) You are required to use stack for this assignment.
(Oct. 27) HYUK CHO will have make-up office hours during this week (for last week's cancellation) as follows: (TTH 9:30-11:45 am).
(Oct. 22) HYUK CHO's office hours cancelled. The make-up office hours will be posted soon.
(Oct. 22) Assignment 4 is due to Tomorrow (10/23/02). Here is a check-list for Assignment 4: (1) please note that your code should work with Dr. Young's code of selection sort (i.e. no changes should be made to sorting function in Psort.java). (2) Don't forget to make a driver or main() in order to show how your program is properly working. (3) (For extra point problem) some points would be reserved for multiplication and division too. (the exact division of the 5 extra points between (addition+substraction)and (multiplication+division) hasn't been finalized yet)
(Oct. 22) Grade of Assignment 3 will be in your directory by Tomorrow(Oct. 23). Check "grade3.txt" file in your directory using the turnin program. If you have any questions on your grade, please contact ASAP the TA who graded yours.
(Oct. 08) Assignment 3 is due to Tomorrow (10/09/02). Here is a check-list for Assignment 3: (1) Please make a reasonable filename for each problem. For example, you may give the following filename(i.e., classname), Replace, List and PhoneList. (2) Don't forget to make a driver or main() in order to show how your program is properly working. (3) Make sure that you have to turn in three files.
(Oct. 08) Grade of Assignment 2 is in your directory. Check "grade2.txt" file in your directory using the turnin program.
(Sept. 25) Please turn in the two java files, "BingoCard.java" and "BingoCaller.java", for Assignment 2. Don't worry about the file duplication problem (because provious "BingoCard.java" has been stored in another name, "BingoCard1.java") and just turn them using the turnin program.
(Sept. 18) Grade of Assignment 1 is in your directory. Check "grade1.txt" file in your directory using the turnin program.
(Sept. 16) Assignment 2 is posted (Due Date: Sept., 25)
(Sept. 12) Don't download the turnin program from CS307 class webpage. You can download the correct version of turnin program from Here.
