About Me
My name is Jonathan Monette. I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Austin. I am obtaining a bachelor of science degree in Computer Science. I have been an undergraduate researcher for four years under the supervision of Robert Van de Geign with the Formal Linear Algebra Methods Environment(FLAME). I have also been working with the Swift parallel scripting language supervised by Mike Wilde at Argonne National Labs.
Reseach Projects
- FLINT:FLINT is a tool that takes index free FLAME/C code and transforms this code to a more tradition style of programming(i.e. loops with explicit indexing and direct BLAS calls).
- SwiftMontage: Using the Swift parallel scripting language to create flexible wrappers to the Montage application.
- GOSwift: Developing a toold set to allow Swift to be an execution provider for GlobusOnline. This will allow the user to start/manage from any machine provided they have access to GlobusOnline.
