Funny LDOCE/Roget Searches

For my own research I keep the Longman's Dictionary (LDOCE) Defining Vocabulary and Roget's Thesaurus close at hand. Putting them online, though, reveals a weakness of current Information Retrieval techniques: extremely specific queries are often best satisfied by extremely general wordlists. You can argue that this isn't necessarily a weakness, but I'm pretty sure the people issuing the queries below had absolutely no interest in Longman's defining vocabulary or Roget.

Note: Not all the queries are "funny" in the "my side hurts" sense. But they're interesting cases of word-matching being a poor approximation of question answering or even information retrieval.
Note2: Unfortunately, the most bizarre queries are a little too "colorful" for me to include here. Use your imagination.
Note3: I've seen funny queries hitting these pages for a while, but I've only just decided to start keeping track of them, so the list is starting small.
Note4: Of course, it should have occurred to me that once this page got indexed, it would be an even better hit for the queries I've listed. It's no more satisfying for the people querying, so this page itself reinforces the problem it set out to document. Deep. Totally '90s.
