Research Interests

real-time monitoring systems, network management systems, event correlation, distributed computing

Summary of Research

I am currently conducting research in the areas of distributed real-time systems, network management systems and active electronic brokerage systems. Ongoing work includes specification, monitoring and detection techniques for timing constraints as well as composite events in distributed real-time systems, and event correlation techniques in network management systems. Application areas include avionics software and industrial process control systems, real-time electronic brokerage systems, as well as telecommunication network management systems. Part of the research results is implemented in a Java Composite Event package, which is used for developing a network event correlation system and an on-line active investment portfolio manager.
