This form is to be used to enter a nomination for someone to run in an election to serve on the board of a newly formed International Machine Learning Society. The primary purpose of this society is to manage and support the holding of the annual International Conference on Machine Learning (click here for more information about the formation of this society).

A set of 10 individuals will be elected to found such a society and serve as its initial governing board. Nominated individuals will be contacted to determine if they agree to run before the election.

You may nominate as many individuals as you want. No information about those who submit nominations is being recorded. Nominations will be accepted until Friday, Oct. 5, 2001. The current plan is to hold the election from Oct. 19 - Nov. 2, 2001.
