Although I gave permission for study groups for this homework, you will be much better off if you try to do as much of the homework as you can by yourself.  In particular, if you do study groups, the group may only discuss one problem per meeting.  This will give you an opportunity to work on question 2 by yourself even if you needed help with question 1.
