Run-Time Support

Run-time support includes:

1. Library routines (math functions, I/O formatting)

2. Interface with operating system (I/O, termination)

3. Memory management ( new, garbage collection)

4. Debugging support

5. Procedure call support (often compiled as part of a procedure)
