Dual Assumptions

The redundancy equations can be solved based on dual assumptions:

Let variables x denote available on entry and variables y denote available on exit.

For an interval head h , set xhM = 1 and xhm = 0 (except xeM = 0 for the program entry block).

For other blocks in the interval, compute:

xbM = &prodi &isin &Gamma^-1 b yiM

xbm = &prodi &isin &Gamma^-1 b yim

ybM = xbM · k_b + c_b

ybm = xbm · k_b + c_b
