On behalf of the Friar Society, we would like to sincerely thank you for
your application for the Friar Centennial Teaching Fellowship. This year we
received a unprecedented number of excellent submissions, and we appreciate
the time and effort that went into each one. Although your application was
not chosen for the award this year, we encourage you to apply for the FCTF
in the future.

Please note that you were a finalist for the fellowship, and that your
teaching at the University is recognized as particularly influential among
undergraduates. You will be recognized as an FCTF finalist in a letter that
the Friar Society will be sending to your department head as well as to the
dean of your college.

Again, thank you for your application. We recognize and appreciate your
contribution to the University of Texas at Austin through your excellent
teaching of undergraduates.

Sincerely,
Karen Gonzalez & Ian Davis
FCTF Co-Chairs, Friar Society
