Longs Peak (center) and Mt. Lady Washington (right) are seen, looking W, just as the trail rises above timberline. The trail goes to the bottom of the left ridge of Mt. Lady Washington; from there, the Chasm Lake trail branches to the left, while the Longs Peak trail turns right.
