Minisymposium on High-Performance Computing and Numerical Linear Algebra
within the
7th International Conference of Numerical Analysis and Applied Mathematics (ICNAAM 2009)

September 18-22, 2009
Scope :
The symposium aims at bringing together scientists and engineers from academia, research laboratories, and industry, to present results of the latest studies in the areas of High-Performance Computing and Numerical Linear Algebra. Short papers are solicited on all aspects of research, development, and application in the following topics:
- Programming models, tools and environments for high-performance scientific computations.
- Parallelism: multithreading, multicore and multiprocessor systems; clusters, Cloud computing, supercomputers.
- Computational accelerators: GPUs, Cell processors.
- Autotuning & performance tuning tools.
- Performance analysis, modeling and prediction.
- Fast matrix computations.
- Eigenvalue and eigenvector computation.
- Direct and iterative methods for large sparse linear systems.
- Effect of round-off errors.

- Notification of acceptance: July 29, 2009.
- Submission of final Extended Abstract (source files): August 1, 2009.
- Submission of the Full Paper for consideration for publication in the journals: January 31, 2010.
- Early Registration by April 30, 2009.
- Normal Registration by June 15, 2009.
- Late Registration by July 29, 2009.
