El foquito se esta fundiendo! He's finally growing some hair... although not many people would notice. He's teething too! He has one tooth in his lower jaw that broke through already and at least one other on the way. We've started feeding him solids now... he actually started opening his mouth for the food today (8/9/01). We've also tried using the sippy cup but so far he thinks it's just a soothie for his gums. As for his size... Nathan has continued to stretch at a good rate... he measures 27.5" (90-95th percentile) but weighs only 17lbs 7oz (50-75th percentile). His head is bigger than ever (still in the 95th percentile). He currently wears 9-12 month clothes but he's quickly outgrowing them.

He's on the move! He's not exactly crawling yet... more like creeping. He mainly uses his upper body to turn and drag himself wherever he wants to go but he's begun to use his legs too. He's got amazing abdominal strength which allows him to play with a toy using both hands while on his belly. He's not quite sitting up on his own yet either... but he's almost there!
