UV Manual: Graphical User Interface

We describe the graphical user interface of the UV system in two stages:

first we introduce basic concepts and entities upon which the interaction with the UV system is based,
then we describe the current representation of these concepts in the actual user interface.

The basic entities such as programs, properties, and formulae are built into the core of the UV system. The representation of these entities in the user interface on the other hand is determined by interface scripts which are potentially highly customizable making it possible to quite easily provide different kinds of user interfaces.

The interface described here is the particular interface that comes with the standard installation of the UV system.
