  • In November 2007, I spoke at our department's Visions in Computing lecture series. It is a condensed version of the Computers and Thought Award talk with some added material about our participation in the Urban Challenge.
  • In September 2007, I spoke at the math department's Saturday Morning Math Group, explaning "How Machines Learn: From robot soccer to autonomous traffic" to high school and middle school students.
  • In January 2007, I delivered the IJCAI 2007 Computers and Thought Award talk: "Learning and Multiagent Reasoning for Autonomous Agents."
