I am a graduate student in the department of computer sciences at the University of Texas at Austin. I am also a member of the MFKB Group headed by my advisor Dr. Bruce Porter.
My research interests are in the areas of knowledge based systems, semantic matching, knowledge engineering, ontologies, and natural language understanding. My PhD dissertation focuses on building a semantic matcher to find the similarities between two knowledge representations and the application of this matcher to problems such as plan critiquing, anaphora resolution, and sense and relation disambiguation.
