The Algernon distribution contains three software modules. SFS is the Simple Frame System which forms the core of the Algernon representation. GFP partially implements a Generic Frame Protocol interface to the SFS. Finally, AAM is the Algernon Abstract Machine.

The Simple Frame System

Algernon has a separate knowledge representation model called the Simple Frame System (SFS). SFS is a basic frame-slot-value-facet representation system that is independent of Algernon.
