Doing the NERO exercise on a 64-bit linux system

If you try to run nero on a 64-bit linux installation, you may get an error "./nero.bin: No such file or directory". It is possible to fix this problem by installing some compatibility libraries. See e.g. these suggestions.

If you cannot get it to work, you can do the tutorial in OpenNERO, which is a linux system. You can download it here. There is no tutorial mode, so you need to follow the instructions from here. The menus etc. will look a little different but the concepts are the same and you can run through the same exercise.
