Below is the list of summer TA assignments.
Please
let us know as soon as possible if you will not be able to TA this summer. We
have other students waiting for TA positions. I realize that several of
you wanted assignments for specific portions of the summer. In general, these
requests were not able to be met.
Enrollments in the undergraduate courses are very low this summer we do not expect any more TA positions to open and it is possible that some courses may not be offered.
Issues
1) Because of fluctuations in enrollment (and TA availability), your assignment may change at the last
minute.
2) All the TAs will get the same pay for the summer even though you may work different length sessions. You are expected to work (% time of appointment) * 40 hours per week. For example, the N354 course meets for 9 weeks at 0.75 * 40 hours per week = 30 hours per week for the session. (F, S - 6 weeks, N - 9 weeks, W - 12 weeks)
3) TAs who are appointed in the second session will be appointed from 7/16-8/31 and will not get a paycheck until 7/31. They will be appointed for 40 hours.
