Goals

The goal of the contest and workshop is to increase and focus interest and research in the area of sequential machine learning especially with respect to physiological data. As the biomedical revolution continues, the amount of biomedical data will only continue to increase. Techniques for extracting useful information from this vast array of sequential data are still at a relatively young age compared to the techniques for fully independent data. By providing a large and rich data set, we hope to convince researchers to focus on a common problem so that solutions can be both easily shared and compared.
