Two-Letter Scrabble Words: Categorized
In scrabble, knowing the two-letter words according to the official
scrabble dictionary (OSPD) can be a significant strategic advantage.
The purpose of this page is to categorize them, mostly to help with
memorizing them, and partly just for fun. If you just want them in
boring old alphabetical order, here they are.
In OSPD3 (the third edition), released in 1996, there were originally
97 two-letter words, although one of them, da, was
decommissioned and removed from later printings. In OSPD4, released
in 2006, are five new ones, fe, ki, oi,
qi, and za. This makes a total of 101 two-letter
words.
