TacTex Starter Agent
Welcome to the home of the TacTex Starter Agent
The purpose of this agent is to serve as a starting point for new participants
in the TAC SCM competition. The agent is based on
TacTex, winner of the 2005
and 2006 competitions. The basic infrastructure of TacTex has been left in
place, but all agent strategies have been replaced with simple heuristics.
The agent was originally designed for use in a
course on Agent-Based Electronic Commerce, and is now
being released to the community in hopes that it will be
useful. We welcome any questions, bug reports, or suggestions on making the agent easier to use.
