Albert is a third-year doctoral student of Dept. of Computer Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin. Before arriving United States in 2004, he earned his M.S. and bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from the National Taiwan University (2004, 2002).

Albert is currently a member of Computational Visualization Center, and is under supervised by Dr. Chandrajit Bajaj. His research interests include data representation, visualization, and auralization, computer graphics, and numerical analysis.
